Bambu Lab teases new multi-material 3D printer

The Chinese 3D printer manufacturer Bambu Lab has teased a new 3D printer on Reddit. In a so-called “Ask Me Anything“, the Bambu Lab team was questioned and gave some interesting hints.

One user praised Bambu Lab’s filament changer system (AMS) for multi-color printing and asked whether there will be improvements in this direction. The Reddit user wanted to know whether there are also plans for a printer with multiple tool heads. The Bambu Lab team responded that a new generation of the 3D printer will be released this year. (“We can’t share details at this time, but we’re working on the new generation printer which will be launched this year. 🙂 “).

More specific details have not yet been published, but the answer indicates that Bambu Lab wants to offer a competitor product to Prusa Research’s XL. Anycubic and Creality have also announced 3D printers with multi-color printing.
