3D Printed Quadcopter Designed with Microsoft’s HoloLens

At the recent Windows 10 event, Microsoft unveiled their revolutionary HoloLens, a holographic headset that fuses virtual reality with the real world and lets you interact with 3D images.

The augmented reality device also allows for 3D modelling using a CAD software. This was demonstrated during the event by designing a quadcopter which was later brought to the real world by 3D printing:

The release date of the HoloLens is yet unknown, but according to Microsoft it will hit the market in the Windows 10 timeframe sometime this year.

Inspired by the live demo, 3D printer manufacturer Zortrax has created its own version and published the pictures of the 3D printed quadcopter on their website:
