Afinia presents its new entry-level 3D printer QD330

3D printer manufacturer Afinia has unveiled the QD330, a new 3D printer for beginners. According to the manufacturer, the QD330 is aimed at both inexperienced users and professionals and is available from 649 US dollars.

One of the most important features of the 3D printer is the automatic leveling of the printing platform. This is intended to provide a simple introduction to 3D printing technology. The QD330 also has a HEPA air filter and an integrated camera to monitor ongoing print jobs.

The manufacturer emphasizes the high printing speed of up to 600 mm/s and the quiet operation of the device. The QD330 can be controlled via WLAN, LAN or USB connection. Common materials such as PLA, ABS and PETG are supported. Practical features such as power failure protection and a filament sensor should also ensure undisturbed print jobs. The build space is specified as 220 x 220 x 220 mm.

With the QD330, Afinia aims to make 3D printing easier for beginners in particular. The comparatively low price and the many user-friendly functions should particularly appeal to private individuals and educational institutions that do not yet own a 3D printer.
