3D printer manufacturer EnvisionTEC has released its latest 3D printer, the Vector Hi-Res 3SP at formnext.
The Vector Hi-Res 3SP can produce parts up to a size of 300 x 175 x 200 mm with a resolution of 60 µm in the X and Y planes. This is almost double the resolution of the original Vector 3SP model which has been released a year ago.
The 3D printer is able to process a variety of proprietary materials ideal for manufacturers, including ABS Tough, ABS Hi-Impact, E-Glass and E-Tool. These materials were designed for short-run injection moulding of thermoplastics.
In collaboration with its strategic partner Viridis3D, EnvisionTEC will be demonstrating the Robotic Additive Manufacturing (RAM) technology for the first time in Europe. The RAM 123 by Viridis3D is equipped with a binder jetting head that is is attached to a multi-axis, high-precision robot arm from ABB. It is able to print affordable and detailed sand moulds and cores for the foundry industry.
“EnvisionTEC is a company that provides genuine solutions for manufacturing professionals and the Vector Hi-Res and RAM 123 are the latest examples of our commitment to that mission,” said Chief Operating Office John Hartner.
