FABtotum’s All-in-One Device Now Features Two 3D Printing Technologies

It has been two years since the Italian startup FABtotum had launched their $ 999 all-in-one device called FABtotum Personal Fabricator on Indiegogo. The low-cost FFF 3D printer can also be used as a CNC mill and 3D scanner.

Now, the team integrated the PRISM SLA 3D printing platform into their device, which can either be pre-ordered as an add-on to existing machines or as a complete bundle.

Configured as an FFF 3D printer it can work with materials such as PLA, PETG, ABS as well as NYLON, HIPS and PC. FABtotum also CNC mills foams, brass, wood and aluminium and can create 3D scans using the built-in camera, laser or touch probe.

PRISM can be installed inside the device as a standard build platform featuring a resin vat. Photopolymer is cured layer by layer using UV light that is projected through an LCD mask.

Currently, the add-on is available on Indiegogo for $ 649 or can be pre-ordered as complete bundle starting at $ 1,399.
