Italian startup Lumi Industries currently promotes their LumiPocket LT all-in-one device on Kickstarter.
Targeted at makers, the compact multi-purpose device can be used as a resin-based 3D printer, a PCB etching machine as well as a laser engraver. It’s Selective Compliance Articulated Robot Arm, short SCARA, enables the machine to cover the whole printing area with the smallest possible footprint.
The 3D printer featuring a UV laser cures photosensitive resin with a precision of 50 microns on the Z-axis and 100 microns on the XY axis. Objects with a maximum size of 10 cm in diameter and 10 cm in hight can be created using their LumiReact and FunToDo resins.
Their campaign has reached it’s goal within the first two weeks and still runs until October 8th, with devices available at € 499. Should they reach their stretch goal of 100,000 Lumi Industries will offer three additional interchangeable heads: a milling head, a touch probe and an open source head that can be customised by the user.
