Sandvik cooperates with KBM: Osprey metal powder now available in the USA

The Swedish company Sandvik has announced a partnership with the US distribution company KBM Advanced Materials. As part of the collaboration, KBM will take over the distribution of Sandvik’s Osprey metal powders in the United States.

The high-quality metal powders are used in 3D printing. Sandvik is taking this step in response to the increasing demand for its products in the USA. Until now, there was no central point of contact for customers there. The gap is now to be closed via KBM with its established network.

As Sandvik emphasizes, the desire of US customers for easy access to Osprey powders was an important reason for the cooperation. KBM can ensure fast delivery thanks to its existing structures. According to the company, this has created a customer-oriented solution.

The portfolio includes powders based on various alloys, including 316L, nickel-based superalloys and copper. KBM has an e-commerce platform that offers product information, price transparency and convenient online ordering.
