VECTARY Integrated MyMiniFactory

New York and Bratislava, July 13th, 2017: VECTARY, the free, browser-based 3D modeling tool recently announced its partnership with the 3D printing platform MyMiniFactory to further facilitate their users’ access to creating and sharing of 3D printable designs.

The new partnership comes in the shape of two integrated plugins – for both export and import – within Vectary’s 3D editor. Time saving is key as users are now able to export and share their work to MyMiniFactory with a single click, and make it available to 3D printer owners around the world. They can also import guaranteed 3D printable models from MyMiniFactory to VECTARY, where they can edit and customize them.

Michal Koor, Vectary CEO and co-founder: ”This new plugin will make it a lot easier and will encourage our users to start creating more 3D models and to share them with MyMiniFactory’s large community. I think we’re already seeing glimpses of how the future will look like in five-ten years from now, when creating 3D designs will be a common thing for almost anyone.”

Rees Calder, MyMiniFactory CMO: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Vectary in this exciting new initiative. Vectary shares our vision of bringing 3D design and 3D printing to the masses and so allowing people to share to MyMiniFactory from Vectary made perfect sense. Using this feature, users will now be able to get their amazing creations in front of a broader audience and help grow the 3D industry as a whole. We are excited to see where this partnership leads!”.

VECTARY plans to turn more and more 3D printer owners into designers by adding and connecting different integrations and plugins so they can easily edit and customize shapes they find anywhere online.
