3D printer manufacturer voxeljet records sales growth

The listed company voxeljet, a manufacturer of 3D printers and provider of 3D printing services, has presented its financial figures for the third quarter of 2023.

As voxeljet announced, turnover increased by 7.5 percent to 6.2 million euros compared to the same quarter of the previous year. This was primarily driven by the systems business, i.e. the sale of 3D printers, which increased by 25 percent to 3.4 million euros. In contrast, the services division, which produces the printed components for customers, recorded a drop in turnover of 8 percent.

According to voxeljet CEO Ingo Ederer, demand for voxeljet products remains at a high level. Nevertheless, the company has launched a cost-cutting initiative to reduce expenditure without jeopardizing growth. The company has therefore slightly lowered its forecast for operating costs in 2023.

For the fourth quarter, voxeljet expects sales of between 10 and 13.5 million euros. The annual result is now expected to be at the upper end of the previous forecast range of 29 to 32.5 million euros. The EBITDA margin is expected to be slightly negative in 2023, but voxeljet aims to break even for the year in 2025.
