3D Printing Business Directory Tops 3,500

After a year of tweaks and improvements to our global platform we are happy to announce that there are now over 3,500 companies listed on the 3D Printing Business Directory — making it by far the largest directory of 3D printing businesses in the world.

To celebrate this accomplishment, we are announcing that subscriptions to the Basic Plan are now completely free. This allows us to continue pursuing our goal — for the platform to be as accessible to as many companies as possible, from global manufacturers to startups and educational institutions to non-profits.

The global additive manufacturing market is valued at between $6 and 7 billion per year. Whilst popular search engines will return information on many — usually larger, and/or trending — companies, this represents a very narrow view of the entire global market.

There are actually thousands of companies working directly and indirectly with AM technology, all over the world. The industry in this early phase of its growth cycle isn’t as connected as it could be, and we believe connecting it — and providing an accurate picture of the global market landscape — is necessary for it to continue to grow.

Joining 3D Printing Business Directory is ideal for any company’s SEO strategy. It puts your company page directly in front of the people that matter, such as potential customers and other industry operators.

After signing up users are able to create their own company page — or claim an existing listing — and tweak it so that it’s exactly as they want it, with up-to-date information. Pages include the company logo, introduction and description texts, contact information with geo-located map, social media links and portfolio pages — with more exciting features coming soon.

Companies are grouped into 15 industry verticals. These include 500+ 3D printer manufacturers and 900+ 3D printing services, material manufacturers, software developers as well as some of the most important industrial AM adopters. The industry verticals are further divided into 75+ sub-categories to make it easy to find exactly what you’re looking for

We want to provide a comprehensive global map of industry-related companies, while building a community of professionals who, like ourselves, believe that 3D printing is the only possible future for manufacturing. Join us.
