3D printing company Axtra3D expands its management team

Axtra3D announced the appointment of 3D printing executives Greg Elfering, Andreas Tulaj and Steffen Reinfurth to the restructured sales and growth team. In addition, Axtra3D announces its successful entry into the Japanese market with multiple installations.

Greg Elfering, who brings over 20 years of experience in the 3D printing industry, will serve as Executive Vice President of Global Revenue. He has gained extensive experience in his career with companies such as 3D Systems, Stratasys, UltiMaker and HP’s Additive Manufacturing business. Elfering will focus on strengthening global sales channels and strategic customer relationships. With his expertise in areas such as stereolithography, filament extrusion and multi-jet fusion, he is ideally positioned to drive Axtra3D’s Hybrid PhotoSynthesis (HPS) technology forward.

Andreas Tulaj, who has over 25 years in the 3D printing industry, will serve as Senior Vice President with a focus on Europe. Tulaj has previously held senior sales positions at 3D Systems, Concept Laser, GE Additive and Carbon. Axtra3D will benefit from his experience and expertise in the European market to further expand its sales structure and organization.

Steffen Reinfurth, with 20 years of experience in 3D printing, will lead the global dental segment as Vice President of Global Dental Revenue. He has previously held technical and sales roles at Dentsply, Concept Laser, GE Additive and Carbon. Reinfurth will position Axtra3D’s HPS technology in the dental production market, which is known for its high resolution and throughput performance.

Axtra3D’s CEO, Gianni Zitelli, says, “Our team feels very fortunate and proud to scale our revenue and growth team with these highly capable 3D Printing veterans and strengthen our commitment to growth. It helps develop Axtra3D’s path toward sustainable growth as its technologies become more entrenched in global installations. Their proficiency will help our customers effectively apply the HPS and TruLayer value propositions into their operations and business models. This is particularly important as we grow our reseller channel footprint and offer our Axtra Solutions and Axtra Access business models – one that provides our customers with fully tuned, complete solutions and the other that supports their business need to experiment with newer materials and applications.”

Axtra3D has also recently announced its entry into the Japanese market through a partnership with leading distributor DMM LLC.

Yu Inoue, Deputy Department Manager for DMM, 3D Print Department, indicates “As a leading service bureau in Japan, we take pride in being the first to introduce HPS technology to the Asian market. We have observed strong demand among Japanese manufacturing clients, especially in mold applications that require ceramic-like materials and end-use solutions. To support innovation in Japanese manufacturing, we are committed to promoting the Lumia X1 through distribution and service offerings. Its seamless integration of throughput, fidelity, and print reliability surpasses other SLA and DLP technologies.”

With the opening of its new headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, at the end of 2023 and a subsidiary in Vicenza, Italy, Axtra3D is well positioned to achieve its global growth targets and deliver advanced 3D printing technologies worldwide.
