AddUp expands customer service for optimized additive manufacturing processes

AddUp, a French specialist in metal additive manufacturing, has strengthened its customer support with the creation of a new service department called LevelUp. This department aims to improve the user experience in 3D printing and provide companies with the support they need to succeed in this dynamic industry.

“We are excited to introduce our new Service Department, LevelUp, designed to elevate the additive manufacturing experience for our valued clients, said Jean Rivoire, Director of Customer Service at AddUp. We believe that our engagement in excellence, coupled with a two-decade legacy of applications development, will provide businesses with the support needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving world of metal 3D printing.”

The new department will include training, consulting, co-design services, qualification assistance, workshop planning, machine maintenance and software and hardware upgrades.

LevelUp’s service offerings are specially tailored to the different needs of customers:

To get started with additive manufacturing, there is the “Additive Journey Kickstart” program, which supports companies in building up their expertise and helping to design their first applications. For industrial implementation, AddUp offers customized contracts ranging from prototyping to small series and large series production in order to strengthen companies’ competitiveness. In addition, a business growth partnership exists through which AddUp acts as a strategic partner to not only assist with set-up, but also to increase productivity and promote sustainable success in companies’ additive manufacturing endeavors.

The joint venture between Michelin and Fives brings extensive experience to the development of AddUp’s services. Both parent companies began industrializing laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF) two decades ago. Today, AddUp operates one of the largest workshops for additive metal manufacturing in Europe and sets the highest safety standards.

“When you choose AddUp, you are not just selecting a service provider; you are choosing a strategic partner dedicated to supporting you through every step of your additive journey” explained Jean Rivoire. “In the trusted hands of our Service Department, our customers will experience a new level of service quality, and this will solidify AddUp as a reliable partner for those seeking to maximize the potential of additive manufacturing for their businesses.
