cirp expands production capacity with the SLA 750 system from 3D Systems

At Formnext 2023, cirp and 3D Systems sealed the purchase of the new SLA750 system. Almost 30 years of additive manufacturing with stereolithography are now taking cirp from Heimsheim (Baden-Württemberg) to the next level.

The new SLA750 stereolithography system from 3D Systems impresses with its particularly fast production time and extreme precision. With an installation space of 750 x 750 x 550 mm, large containers, car headlights or several smaller parts can be produced simultaneously, for example. cirp is now using it for the production of resilient plastic components. This means that the company currently operates 10 stereolithography systems.

“We are very pleased about the renewed cooperation with 3D-Systems. With the SLA750, we can expand our innovative portfolio even further and implement our customers’ wishes even faster,” says Markus Gaißert, Head of Stereolithography at cirp.

“At the same time, we offer a wide range of materials, whether transparent, particularly stable and rigid or flexible – we always have the right 3D printing material.”

The new production system integrates seamlessly into the existing process chain, from data management and construction to high-quality surface finishing.

As a partner for plastic parts from a quantity of 1, cirp deliberately relies on stereolithography in addition to other 3D printing processes such as SLS and rapid tooling, because it enables outstandingly good surfaces and precise detail resolution in overnight production.
