Darth Vader Delivers 3D Printed Prosthetic Arm for 9-Year-Old Boy

9-year-old Alvin Garcia Flores  has received a 3D printed prosthetic “Star Wars” arm, delivered by members of the 501st Legion, including Darth Vader, two stormtroopers and a droid.

The 4th grader, currently attending Gateway Elementary School n Nebraska, was born with a right arm that ends just below his elbow. Last week he was presented with a 3D printed bionic arm created by the Florida-based non-profit organisation Limbitless Solutions. Alvin’s principal, who had reached out to Limbitless Solutions, said: “I hope that the arm gives Alvin more self-confidence at school around his peers.

Limbitless Solutions is devoted to bringing volunteers and technology to kids who need it the most. Last year the organisation surprised another boy was a 3D printed bionic “Iron Man” arm, delivered by no other than Tony Stark himself.
