The designer Iris van Herpen is very in to 3D printed cloth.
She already presented fully 3D printed dresses and even collaborated with Neri Oxman on wearable photosynthetic “cloth”. But at this years Paris Fashion Show she even took a step further and 3D printed a dress live on Gwendoline Christie during her show called “Quaquaversal”. Tree robot arms wove the dress right on the model. The results are shown in the pictures below:
