Munich-based DyeMansion has reached a significant milestone: it recently shipped its 1000th machine for post-processing 3D printed parts. DyeMansion specializes in solutions for coloring, smoothing and cleaning plastic 3D prints.
According to the release, the 1000th machine, a Powerfuse S for smoothing surfaces, went to ophthalmic optics manufacturer Zeiss Vision Care. Since the launch of its first machine in 2016, DyeMansion has seen rapid growth.
The company says it is now the global market leader for post-processing industrial plastic 3D printing. It says the technology makes it possible to produce high-quality end products from printed blanks. The long-term goal, it says, is to enable mass production with 3D printing.
DyeMansion says it employs more than 90 people. Its products are used worldwide, and its cleaning, surface and coloring solutions are tailored specifically to the needs of manufacturers. The 1000th installation underpins the company’s innovative strength in this important area of additive manufacturing, it said.
