3D Printing solutions provider from Belgium, Materialise, has announced its partnership with FELIXrobotics BV for the Build Processor software.
After teaming up with Leapfrog and MiiCraft desktop 3D printers, Materialise now also bundled with manufacturer FELIXrobotics for their line of FDM 3D printers.
Using 3D printers is becoming easier by the day, thanks in part to software that acts similar to printer drivers for inkjet printing. By simplifying complicated functions through a straightforward user interface, the FELIX Builder, developed by Materialise, does just that for the FELIX 3.0 3D printers. By adjusting settings based on pre-set or custom-made profiles, users can go from STL file to watching their design print before their eyes in one all-inclusive program. This gives unprecedented control over their prints and a streamlined printing process.
“This Build Processor is one of many that Materialise will be releasing and we are looking forward to future releases with other partners, from home printers, to prosumers, to industrial printers. This software is the ideal solution to connect applications to 3D printing technologies such as metal laser sintering, DLD, FDM and beyond.”
