The so-called Voronoi effect is based on mathematical Voronoi diagrams and breaks up the surface of a 3D model into several polygonal regions. This gives objects a unique, geometric appearance. Until now, the creation of such models could be time-consuming. However, this is now easier with Voronator.
Voronator is a simple and free online app that allows the generation of such models. The user uploads a 3D model (up to 20 megabytes) and then receives it back in STL or PLY format (both binary) with a Voronoi effect.
STL, PLY, DAE and OBJ are currently supported as input formats.
