MakerBot Partners with Distributor WYNIT

MakerBot is expanding its distribution network by adding WYNIT as a distributor of its MakerBot 3D printing and scanning products in the U.S. and Canada. WYNIT is a leading distributor of prosumer, professional and consumer 3D printer technology. With a dedicated 3D printing team to assist resellers, WYNIT is expected to help expand availability of MakerBot 3D printers and scanners in North America.

WYNIT is a strategic and integral partner for MakerBot,” noted Mark Schulze, general manager of the Americas and Emerging Markets for MakerBot. “WYNIT stands out because it has an entire team dedicated to supporting 3D printing. This team is designed to help resellers add MakerBot 3D printers and scanners to their product portfolio, and they will offer comprehensive support, advice and training to get resellers up and running quickly. We’re excited to work with the team at WYNIT and this new agreement is a move we believe will help us expand our sales channels across North America and reach our audience of educators, engineers and designers.”

We see this partnership with MakerBot as a great opportunity to expand our expertise and service capabilities around 3D printing technology. The specialized vertical market customers we serve in the engineering, design and educational industries align well with MakerBot’s full line of products,” said Rick Slagle, vice president of Purchasing, Marketing & Business Development for WYNIT Distribution. “MakerBot’s industry-leading technology, comprehensive MakerBot 3D Ecosystem, innovative design and world-class branding will be an exciting addition to our 3D printing category. Partnering with MakerBot will allow us to provide MakerBot Replicator® 3D Printers to the quickly expanding list of customers that are requesting this technology.”
