Solderdoodle 2.0: 3D Print Finishing Tool Launched on Kickstarter

The creator of Solderdoodle, a portable soldering iron, has just launched a Kickstarter campaign to introduce 3 new attachments.

A hot knife, a needle and a scooper can be used to remove defects or support structures of your 3D prints. The cordless tool can be recharged from a USB port.

With currently $ 443 to go, the campaign has almost reached its funding goal of $ 10.000. If you have already received a Solderdoodle by pledging for their first campaign last year, you can get the three new attachments for $ 15; kits start from $ 58.

Last week we have posted an article on Retouch3D, a similar tool to finish your 3D prints, currently promoted on Kickstarter as well.
