Startup Spanda 3D advances 3D printing in India

The Indian startup Spanda 3D, headquartered in Gurugram, specializes in rapid prototyping and product development through additive manufacturing. According to the company, Spanda 3D covers the entire value chain – from conception and design to small series production.

Spanda 3D has already worked with government agencies, research institutions such as IIT Delhi and companies in the smart metering and video surveillance sectors and has won customers in the automotive, architecture and medical technology sectors.

The range of services includes CAD design, firmware development, various 3D printing processes such as FDM, SLA and MJF, reverse engineering, milling and sheet metal processing as well as PCB manufacturing. According to the company, Spanda 3D has already developed and manufactured a car bumper, a drone protective cover and medical devices, for example.

With its broad technology portfolio, the young company aims to advance product development and manufacturing in India and offer internationally competitive solutions.
