Technology Applied installs fourth large-format SLS 3D printer

The Polish 3D printing service provider Technology Applied has announced the installation of another SLS 3D printing system of the type EOS P396. The company now has four large-format printers from the German manufacturer EOS. In addition, an MJF printer from HP for plastic powder printing was installed in mid-2022.

As company founder Jarosław Kozak explains, the ongoing investment in high-performance industrial 3D printers for series production is directly reflected in rising sales. The company expects sales to increase by over 45% in 2023.

The EOS P396 scores with a build area of 340 x 340 x 600 millimetres. This means that dozens of small parts as well as individual XXL components can be produced. EOS specifies a printing speed of up to 22 mm per hour.

In addition to powder bed printers, Technology Applied also relies on stereolithography, DLP and FDM. A total of almost 180,000 parts were printed in 2022. This figure is set to increase significantly in 2023 as a result of the investments.

Manufacturing software ensures smooth digital processes – from preparing quotations to order processing. According to the company, this has reduced the response time to inquiries by over 70 percent.
