UFC has signed a global licensing agreement with GuardLab to provide their athletes with custom mouthguards.
Additionally, GuardLab will offer the UFC branded mouthguards for fans to purchase through their website and certified dentists. GuardLab uses 3D scanning and printing technologies to create custom mouthguards with a proprietary Alignment Repositioning Cushion.
UFC Senior Vice President of Global Consumer Products Tracey Bleczinski said: “With the ever-changing landscape in professional sports, we’re always looking for the next cutting-edge technology and innovation to aid athletes that compete in the UFC. We are excited to partner with GuardLab as they continue to develop products that help improve the overall performance and wellness of professional athletes.”
As of now all UFC athletes have the option of wearing this mouthguard during training and while competing at UFC events.
