Chinese 3D printer manufacturer Zhuhai CTC has only recently unveiled their first SLA 3D printer targeted at the industrial market. Now the company announced it has received an order for 30 Riverbase500 3D printers from UK-based company Greenwich Planet.
Headquartered in London, Greenwich Planet Co. Ltd is a provider of comprehensive creative and design services. “We are delighted in having established a closer relationship with China’s CTC”, CEO Raphe J Junea said. “Given the growth in desktop distribution of the beta test version of the Riverbase500 over the past two and a half years, the device is considered the best product on the market.”
CTC operations manager Yang Xiaoting said, while commenting on the big order for the just-released industrial 3D printing market version of the Riverbase500, “The fact that our home-grown printer has been selected by a customer well outside of our home market represents a recognition of CTC’s technology and overall ability, as well as a milestone in the entry of China’s advanced products into international markets.”
