3D Hubs has released their 3D printing Trend Report for May 2016. Their community currently includes 29,500 printers in over 150 countries worldwide, which provide the base for their monthly report.
In the category highest rated desktop 3D printers, the BCN3D SIGMA was able to hold onto the pole position that it has climbed to for the first time last month. The second and third place haven’t changed either and go to the Form 2 SLA printer and the PowerSpec 3D Pro 3D printer. The Zortrax M200 ranks fourth in May, followed by the ORD Bot Hadron 3D printer Kit, CEL Robox, Kossel XL, FlashForge Crator Pro, Prusa Steel and Kossel.
Among the trending printers we still find the Ultimaker 2+ in first place with a 70.8% month on month growth, followed by the Rostock MAX V2 delta 3D printer and the Prusa i3v:
