While 3D Hubs has just released their so far monthly Trend Report for the month of July 2016, they announced changing this report to be published on a quarterly basis. This allows for more in depth analysis and showcasing larger trends as well as innovating and updating the report in bigger steps, making it overall richer in content.
In July, the category Highest Rated Desktop Printer features the same printers in the top 3 as last month. The BCN3D SIGMA keeps holding on to the top position for the 4th month in a row as has increased its rating to 4.88 stars out of 5 with 200 reviews. The SLA printer Form 2 ranks second again, followed by the PowerSpec 3D Pro.
Among the Trending Printers the Ultimaker 2+ Extended and the Ultimaker 2+ lead the chart with a MoM growth of 54.1% and 26.4%, followed by the Form 2 and the BCN3D SIGMA.
