The Bibo 2 is produced by Shaoxing Bibo Automatic Equipment Co. – a company located in Shaoxing, China. Most of our readers have never heard from the Bibo and may think that the Bibo 2 is just another Makerbot replicate. But if you take a closer look at it you may be surprised. It’s a nice 3D printer with a good design and behind the humble exterior it has a wealth of fascinating features.
Unlike other 3D printers in this price segment the Bibo 2 is also sold with WLAN and a touchscreen user interface. Additionally it has a USB connection and a slot for an SD-Card. For 3D printing it’s equipped with two extruders and as special feature you can also select a laser diode for laser engraving. The laser has a wave length of 405nm and a power of 500 mW. With this power it can cut through paper or cardboard and it can engrave different other materials. The Bibo 2 comes also equipped with a heated bed that is protected by a glass panel. The print bed can be heated up to 100 degree. With its two extruders the 3D printer can print all common materials. The building area has a size of 214 x 186 x 160mm.
