With ColorFabb_HT, the Dutch 3D printing material developer unveils a filament resistant to high temperatures.
The Styrene-free and BPA-free co-polyester can withstand temperatures of up to 100°C without objects deforming. Moreover, parts printed in ColorFabb_HT feature excellent durability and toughness. All these factors combined open up several new areas of applications for more useful and durable 3D printed parts made from filament.
According to ColorFabb the new filament also features advanced overhang ability and allows for 3D printing of multi-components parts requiring exact dimensions due to its superior dimensional stability.
As previous materials including nGen or carbon fibre composite XT-CF20, ColorFabb_HT is also based on a material produced by Eastman Amphora. The HT5300 3D polymer is a low-odour and styrene-free material that is made into high quality filament.
ColorFabb_HT will be available in 5 different colours, including clear, white, light gray, dark gray and black, as of March 21, 2016 through the company’s webshop and resellers worldwide.
