Creality introduces new, faster K1C 3D printer

The Chinese 3D printer manufacturer Creality has introduced a new model, the K1C. The K1C complements the existing K1 series, which, according to Creality 2023, is characterized above all by its speed and ease of use.

According to the manufacturer, the K1C is even more user-friendly than its predecessor with a metal extruder, active carbon filtering and an AI camera. Creality states a printing speed of up to 300 mm/s and a maximum acceleration of 20,000 mm/s2.

The company is therefore positioning the K1C, which costs around 599 euros, as a prosumer printer for demanding users. According to Creality, the model is primarily aimed at makers who also want to work with difficult materials such as carbon fiber filaments or ABS.

Technically, the K1C offers a direct drive, color touchscreen, integrated camera and a heatable build space of 22 x 22 x 25 cm. It is said to be compatible with common plastic filaments including carbon fiber compounds. AI-supported monitoring of the printing process is also available as an option.

The Creality K1C 3D printer can be purchased directly from the official store or from specialist retailers. Creality is currently also offering a Bayern Munich special edition.
