Chinese 3D printer manufacturer Eplus3D presents the EP-M400S, the latest addition to its range of metal 3D printing systems. Building on the predecessor EP-M400, the new model brings improvements in terms of flexibility and performance.
A highlight is the laser configuration of the EP-M400S, which offers an exceptional level of customization. With options for 1, 2, 3 or 4 lasers with different power levels (500W, 700W and 1KW per laser), users can tailor the power to the needs of different applications.
A significant innovation is the implementation of a top-feeding powder hopper and bi-directional powder coating. This reduces dosing times by up to 30% and streamlines the coating application process enormously, resulting in significant time savings.
Fully compatible with accessories such as the EP-MS600 ultrasonic sieve unit and the EP-MF400 automated powder feed unit, the EP-M400S enables seamless integration into existing production environments and allows the powder tank to be refilled without interrupting the printing process.
With unchanged layer thickness and material compatibility, the EP-M400S is used in a wide range of industries such as aerospace, automotive, mold making and medical technology. Its adaptability positions it as a versatile metal 3D printing solution with extended benefits for industrial use.
