Chinese manufacturer Flsun has unveiled the T1, a 3D printer for ultra-fast printing. The machine is said to enable speeds of up to 1000mm/s.
According to the manufacturer, the T1 achieves printing speeds of 1000mm/s with accelerations of up to 30,000mm/s. The closed housing is said to ensure stability during high-speed printing processes and enable the use of various filament materials up to 300°C. Compatible materials include PLA, PETG, TPU, PVA, PET, ABS, ASA, PA and PC.
To optimize the printing process, the T1 features automatic levelling, vibration compensation and cameras. The latter are used to monitor and record time-lapse videos. The device also has an air filter (HEPA + activated carbon).
The installation space is 260 x 260 x 330 mm and the price of the device is 559 euros.
