Materialise and Structo Launch “PrintWorks” Build Processor for SLA Printers

Materialise and Singapore-based manufacturer of SLA 3D printers, Structo, have teamed up to develop PrintWorks, a customised Build Processor for their industrial-grade devices based on Liquid Crystal Dynamic Mask stereolithography (MSLA) technology.

The Materialise Build Processor has been integrated into a number of industrial as well as consumer 3D printers. It simplifies the 3D printing process by matching hardware and software and therefore reduces complexity to make 3D printing technology more accessible for a wider range of users.

Structo PrintWorks will allow users to edit, analyse and repair files easily and intuitively. The advanced support generation is fully automated and makes manual effort redundant. According to the geometry of the part, users can apply different build strategies and rely on Materialise’s slicing software. The processor will be available for Structo’s RapidForm, the dental-focused OrthoForm as well as the OmniForm 3D printers
