NinjaTek Unveils New Performance Filaments Cheetah and Armadillo

3D printing materials manufacturer NinjaTek has released two new high performance, engineering-grade filaments – Cheetah and Armadillo.

Cheetah is a flexible filament that is easy and fast to print, with speeds exceeding 60 mm/sec. According to NinjaTek it can be used to produce seals, plugs, hinges, sleeves and snap-fit parts.

Wendy Booker, Vice President and General Manager at NinjaTek explains: “The focus in developing this material was optimizing the user experience. As a result, our Cheetah material is not only easy to print, but it provides higher impact, toughness, and abrasion numbers than any other flexible material on the market.”

Armadillo is a rigid filament and provides 90% higher abrasion resistance than nylon materials. It is 86 times tougher than ABS materials and works excellent for bridging, showing almost no warping issues. Armadillo is perfect for rigid parts that need to withstand wear and tear, including braces, fasteners, gears and protective covers.
