As of January 2015 Ricoh Europe will be official reseller for 3D printers of the Dutch manufacturer Leapfrog, including the latest model Creatr HS.
Ricoh customers will be able to get a complete support package for Leapfrog 3D printers and they will also be able to add 3D printers to their existing service contracts. “The partnership will initially be available to customers in Belgium, Germany, The Netherlands and the UK, with wider availability across Europe during 2015,” says Jacques van Wyk, COO of Ricoh SA.
To start with, Ricoh and Leapfrog with focus on customers in the education sector but are planning to expanding to the engineering and manufacturing sectors over the course of time.

Back in September 2013 Ricoh launched its additive manufacturing business in Japan by opening two Ricoh Rapid Fab facilities. The company also focuses on developing their own 3D print head and has a number of technologies in prototyping and moulding.
