Sculpteo Launches Its API for Developers

Following 3D Hubs, online 3D printing service provider Sculpteo has just released its API for developers.

“We’ve always had one task: allow everyone -business or individual- to manufacture anything they want through 3D printing. That’s why we’ve been the first online 3D printing service to launch its API. With now hundreds of integrations, our 3D Printing Cloud Engine is powering a wide range of website, apps and brick-and-mortar stores to give users access to amazing 3D printing possibilities and open new business opportunities.”

After getting your Sculpteo account and consulting their documentation, you will be able to do the following: Upload 3D files to your account and have the analysed and repaired if necessary; display 3D models, galleries of models or thumbnails and request a price and order a 3D print.

Alternatively, users can also use their already-built iframe to embed their 3D printing service.
