Shining 3D Launches EinScan-Pro 3D Scanner and EinStart-L 3D Printer

The Chinese company Shining 3D, manufacturer of the EinScan-S 3D scanner working with white light technology, has launched two new products at CES 2016.

The new EinScan-Pro handheld 3D scanner features four different scanning modes. While the automatic mode captures a model placed on a turntable, the handheld free scan mode allows for capturing larger objects. Scanning people you might want to choose rapid scan, working at the speed of 10 frames per second, and the handheld HD mode can be applied for more detailed scans. Shining 3D offer various upgrades for customers, such as the colour package to create full colour 3D models or the industrial version equipped with a higher-accuracy function.


Prices for the EinScan-Pro 3D scanner, available through their website as well as resellers, start at $ 3,399.

The company also launched the EinStart-L 3D printer, building upon its predecessor, the EinStart-S. Featuring a build volume of 310 x 220 x 200 mm, the desktop device can print multi-colour objects using a single extruder within an enclosed build area. The printer is currently available for pre-order at the price of $ 1,599. Delivery is expected a the end of May this year.
