SLM Solutions Group, provider of metal-based 3D printing based in Germany, has launched a new application and demo centre for additive manufacturing in Lübeck.
The new centre will be used to conduct product training for customers and provide technical presentations and demonstrations. Additionally it will act as a test centre for new applications and technologies to be introduced to the marked by SLM Solutions.
SLM Solutions invested € 5 million into the new facility coving an area of 500 m2 and featuring a wide range of the company’s 3D printing systems such as the SLM 125HL and SLM 500HL.
The opening event was attended by Lübeck’s Mayor Bernd Saxe and over 200 guests guests and employees.
