SMARTTECH3D to Launch MICRON3D Color Scanner

Polish 3D scanner developer SMARTTECH3D is going to officially launch their new MICRON3D color scanner at the TCT Show in Birmingham next week.

Their new device features a detector resolution of 24 megapixel, that captures 24 millions of points containing RGB values to describe shape and colour of the scanned object.

“Thanks to such high resolution we get 400 points that presents a single square millimetre of measured surface for the most universal field of view – 300 x 400mm,” writes SMARTTECH.

This allows for researches to capture the structure of clothes or other complex materials. The sensitive detector can scan even shiny or very dark objects.

MICRON3D color is also equipped with carbon housing resistant to temperature fluctuations as well as dust proof filters. The SMARTTECH3D measure software has been updated as well, with its new version visualising over 200 million points with a speed of 5 fps.

SMARTTECH will showcase their 3D scanners at booth G46 during the TCT Show 2015.
