Stratasys Introduces Objet Eden260VS for Digital Dentistry

Stratasys releases the Objet Eden260VS Dental Advantage 3D Printer, that delivers expanded solutions for digital dentistry.

The device meets the production needs of mid-size labs and mid- to large-sized orthodontic labs. Being more productive and featuring a greater cost-effectiveness for users, it is compatible with all Stratasys dental materials including VeroDent, VeroDentPlus and VeroGlaze. The new automated removal of support material can be switched to an hands-on support removal if needed.

“Stratasys is fully committed to the digital dentistry market,” says Avi Cohen, director of global dental at Stratasys. “The Objet Eden260VS Dental Advantage brings supremely accurate 3D printing technology to any dental lab seeking to benefit from the future of digital dentistry and orthodontics.”

Additionally the company has announced that their VeroGlaze material now meets the requirement of a bio-compatible photopolymer. It can be used for printing items that require short-term contact with mucosal membrane like veneer try-ins in precise teeth colour shade.
