Teleport – 3D Hubs Releases API for 3D Print Button

3D Hubs has announced their public API called Teleport. It is open for anyone to use and enables creator of 3D content to integrate a 3D print button for their models.

This button connects to the 3D Hubs network of currently already over 16,000 3D printers world wide. The API removes the need of downloading or uploading 3D files completely and therefor simplifies the process of 3D printing.

“We are launching Teleport because we want to unlock the world’s 3D content, by making it instantly printable. We enable any design to be made anywhere in the world via our platform with the embedding of one simple print button.”

Recently 3D Hubs has already partnered with MakerBot’s Thingiverse, Sketchfab and Instructables, which have integrated the the API on their platforms.
