3D printer manufacturer Lithoz increased sales by 30% in 2023

Lithoz GmbH, a pioneer in 3D printing technology, has had another record year. In 2023, the company recorded a 30% increase in 3D printer sales compared to the previous year, while the production of materials almost doubled.

The significant increase in sales figures underlines Lithoz’s continuous growth. A key success factor was the introduction of the ‘Ceramic AM Factory’. Lithography-based Ceramic Manufacturing (LCM) 3D printers are used here for industrial mass production. This year, the majority of printers were sold to partners who already use several Lithoz printers. Serial production contributes significantly to Lithoz’s results.

“By establishing these interconnected machine parks, Lithoz is driving the growth of serial production in ceramic 3D printing,” said Dr. Johannes Homa, Lithoz CEO. “We’re working consistently with our customers to scale up to mass production. With one of our partners now producing well over one million parts per year, it’s fantastic to see all the effort paying off!”

Lithoz has also focused on developing an ‘all from one source’ portfolio for ceramic 3D printing solutions. This year, the company has invested in technologies such as laser-induced slipcasting and multi-material manufacturing. For 2024, Lithoz plans to further support the growth of ceramic 3D printing by increasing the number and capacity of service offices worldwide. The expansion of the range of ceramic 3D printing solutions and the continuation of the Ceramic AM Factory for serial mass production will drive innovation in industrial applications.

Lithoz’s growth and innovations in 2023 illustrate the momentum in ceramic 3D printing. With continued expansion and focus on mass production and innovative solutions, Lithoz is pushing the boundaries of the technology and strengthening its position as a market leader in this fast-growing sector.
