EMA Design Automation and Hawk Ridge Systems announced a strategic partnership for a complete ECAD/MCAD development environment. Customers will benefit from tools and support for the entire electronic product design workflow.
According to Manny Marcano, President of EMA, the alliance brings together two companies with expertise in electrical and mechanical design. Together, they aim to help customers successfully realize electromechanical products in a single pass.
Hawk Ridge Systems, a provider of 3D design, manufacturing and 3D printing solutions in the US and Canada, will also distribute Cadence and EMA ECAD design solutions. These state-of-the-art tools were developed with over 30 years of experience in electronics design supported by EMA Design Automation.
According to Dale Ford, CEO of Hawk Ridge Systems, customers want solutions that combine MCAD and ECAD to work more efficiently. The partnership makes it possible to support customers with electronics aspects in mechatronic systems right from the start.
