HP Partners with Sculpteo for Direct 3D Printing from Sprout Platform

HP has collaborated with the French service provider Sculpteo for their Sprout platform.

Users of HP Sprout will be able to upload their 3D scans generated with the platform to Sculpteo’s 3D printing service in order to receive a printout of their model.

Based in Paris and San Francisco, Sculpteo has become one of the major 3D printing service bureaus, with manufactured products shipped worldwide. Back in April, the company was able to raise € 5 Million in funding by investors Creadev and XAnge.

Hewlett Packard has already partnered with 3D printer manufacturer Dremel to provide an end-to-end solution featuring Sprout platform and the Dremel Idea Builder and is about to launch its own 3D printer based on their proprietary MultiJet Fusion technology next year.
