Materialise Announces Distribution Partnership with Cooksongold

British supplier of precious metal products, Cooksongold, has established a partnership with 3D printing company Materialise. The partnership will lead to the distribution of the Cooksongold Precious M 080, a precious metal 3D printing system, with Materialise software, to help improve the 3D printing process.

Cooksongold part of the Heimerle + Meule Group has a long tradition of manufacturing precious metal products for the jewelry and watchmaking industries. Recently, Cooksongold in collaboration with EOS distributes the Precious M 080.

This technology allows users to create complex jewelry and watch components that were previously considered impossible or too time-consuming to be commercially viable. Cooksongold provide a complete turnkey solution by producing a range of Advanced Precious Metal Powders in 18k gold, 950 Platinum and 925 silver, which have been developed especially for optimum use with the Precious M 080. Cooksongold now collaborates with Materialise to equip the precious metal 3D printing machines with state-of-the-art solutions from the Materialise software platform.

Users will be able to easily prepare data, generate support, communicate their files to the 3D printing systems, and overview of all their installed machinery. Users will also be able to handle large files, produce complex parts, streamline their production process and track their manufactured parts.

Materialise looks forward to the collaboration with Cooksongold to empower their precious metal system with Materialise software.
