Modio: iPad App for 3D Models

The Startup Modio introduced the same-named App to create 3D models at the Maker Faire Bay Area last weekend. 

The Modio App has been developed for Apple’s tablet iPad and can be downloaded for free. It allows the user to easily create characters out of ready-made objects in a 3D interface and then convert it into a 3D printable file. At the moment all parts and templates are free via Modio.

Models created with the App have been optimised for MakerBot printer. It is also possible to export models as .STL files.
