Prototek appoints Bill Bonadio as new CEO

Manufacturing services provider Prototek, which focuses on 3D printing manufacturing in addition to on-demand CNC machining, precision sheet metal fabrication, announced that Bill Bonadio will serve as the company’s new chief executive officer, effective immediately.

“Bill’s wealth of experience and proven track record at the highest levels of leadership make him the perfect fit to lead our company and usher in a new phase of growth and innovation,” said Jay Twombly, Prototek’s Chairman. “Given his engineering expertise, visionary leadership style and dedication to Prototek, we have an exciting future ahead of us with Bill at the helm.”

Bonadio was previously CEO at Vericor Power Systems and held senior positions at Boeing and Danaher Corporation.

He began his career as a consultant with Bain & Company and the Boston Consulting Group and is a former U.S. Navy officer.
