Successful appearance of Exentis at the AMUG in Chicago

The Exentis Group, provider of additive, industrial mass production, took part in the “Additive Manufacturing Users Group Conference” (AMUG) in Chicago in mid-March for the first time and with great success.

This annual expert event, one of the oldest events in the US since the emergence of additive manufacturing technologies, aims to foster knowledge building and innovation in the additive manufacturing industry.

Unified by a common interest in using novel additive manu- facturing solutions, it brings together decision makers and industry experts from a wide range of disciplines and industries with innovative technology and solution providers such as Exentis. This year, approximately 2,000 visitors were recorded at the multi-day event.

Visitors showed great interest in the unique advantages of the Exentis 3D technology platform. The suitability for large-scale production with highest flexibility to react immediately to design changes of the produced parts was particularly emphasized, as well as the completely free choice of materials, the possibility of manufacturing ultra-fine structures that cannot be produced with any other manufacturing technology, and significant sustainability and cost advantages throughout the entire manufacturing process.

Dr Gereon Heinemann, Chief Executive Officer of Exentis Group AG: “Exentis’
participation in this event definitely paid off. The ‘who’s who’ of the US industry was
represented here, including major corporations such as General Motors, Google and
Boeing. The US government, the US military and a large number of innovative ‘hidden
champions’ were present, too. Exentis had more than 150 promising conversations
with potential customers in a very short time. Overall visitor feedback was
overwhelmingly positive. I am very confident that this will result in a large number of
new customer orders.
