On October 22nd, 2017, a cooperation agreement was signed between the manufacturer of VSHAPER 3D Printers and University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów (WSIiZ). The purpose of this agreement is to establish a strategic partnership related to “3D Printing design” specialty in the field of “Graphic Design and Multimedia Production” offered by the University.
As part of the agreement VERASHAPE experts will verify and assess the program of studies at “3D Printing design” specialty, take part in meetings with students and conduct chosen classes.
We also hope that our cooperation will have a positive impact on the development of the infrastructure used in the teaching process, and that our students will have the opportunity to take part in internships programs and learn from VERASHAPE professionals – says Dr Wergiliusz Gołąbek, Rector at University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów.
The cooperation agreement was signed during a special conference where numerous students and teaching staff were presented the concept of “3D Printing design” as well as practical examples of 3D Printing in modern industry. A lecture entitled “3D Printing as alternative for conventional production methods” was given by Wiktor Krupiński, Material Engineer at VERASHAPE.
Thanks to cooperation with WSIiZ we have the opportunity to influence the knowledge and competencies of our future employees, and thus the shape of 3D Printing industry. We will do our best to make “3D Printing design” specialty a practical course – summarizes Tomasz Szymański, the CEO and founder of VERASHAPE.
Establishment of cooperation between the 3D Printers manufacturer and University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów has already yielded first results. Two student teams from WSIiZ joined an international competition called “Additive Manufacturing Cup” organized by a global corporation SOLVAY. With the support of VSHAPER PRO 3D Printer, they will be competing with other teams printing models in PEEK. Competition under the Additive Manufacturing Cup will last until March 22nd, 2018.
