YouTuber uses 3D printing for snowmobile conversion

The American YouTubers behind the channel “SXSBlog Garage” have a 3D printer and have shown how they are converting a snowmobile with the printer.

At the beginning of the video, the presenter gives an overview of the current snow vehicle project. Extensive modifications are made to a discarded snowmobile to create a vehicle for water sports. Part of the conversion includes extended runners and a longer caterpillar track.

For special components such as footrests, the team drew on the potential of the 3D printer. The desired 3D models were designed and then printed using Fusion 360 software. According to the creators, the printer enabled them to produce individual parts that would not be available anywhere else in the world.
