After developing filaments such as bambooFill and woodFill, colorFabb is now launching their latest addition to wood-based materials: corkFill
The company has teamed up with Germany-based bioplastic specialist FKuR again, who produce the PLA/PHA material that is then filled with cork particles.
ColorFabb suggests the following printer settings:
- printing temperature: 210 – 230°C
- printing speed: 40 – 60 mm/s
- heated bed advised but not strictly necessary: 50 – 60°C
corkFill is already available for pre-order on their website for € 39.95 per 650 g spool (1.75 and 2.85 mm). Shipping will start before October 11th.
colorFabb is currently printing with their new corkFill filament at TCT Show in Birmingham, so you can drop by their stand B36 in hall 3A to check it out.
